Unpacking the intersection of wellness, mental health, and emotional well-being with the ways politics shapes our lives.
Can any lawyer explain why undocumented workers are being raided, detained and deporte - while the employers who knowingly hire and profit from their labor face no prosecution or accountability?

It’s been a long day, but in short, bullies ain’t shit! I don’t care what title you hold! This isn’t some long gone reality tv show or failed casino; it is war!

How dare a draft dodging dumb dupe humiliate an ally & berate a brave man who has actually been on a battlefield for his people?!

The chaos of today’s politics is no accident—it’s designed to exhaust us. The nonstop fear, gaslighting & outrage harm our mental health - keeping us reactive and distracted.

Let’s limit what we consume, protect our peace and remember, your sanity is not a tool for their control.

A worth read…
Why are Bezos, Zuckerberg, Musk, Pichai and Tim Cook visiting and giving money to Trump ?

Because they are in “The Race “ to become the dominant platform in the world.

Amazon/Anthropic vs FB/LLama vs Google/Gemini vs Twitter/Grok, vs IPhones/ChatGpt is the penultimate global power war ever.

We live in a world that equates worth with productivity. Society whispers that if we’re not always doing, we’re not enough. We’ve been taught that rest is indulgent, that slowing down is lazy and that time is a luxury we cannot afford.

Scarcity is not limited to money but to time, too.

The economy is tough for working/middle class Americans, yet Black Friday sales just hit record highs.

What are we trying to soothe through consumption?

What emptiness are we filling?

Our addiction to buying isn’t just financial—it’s emotional. Society has some deep healing to do.

This is circulating around — but in all seriousness. I wish more people understood what this really means. The greatest trick these billionaires have created is convincing the poor to turn against each other🥲

As we celebrate Thanksgiving, let’s remember: the first undocumented immigrants were welcomed by Native ppl’s with food, water, & shelter. Now, their descendants turn away immigrants seeking the same refuge. True gratitude honors generosity—let’s embody compassion, not exclusion.

The distraction is the point.
Sarah McBride: "It is an attempt to distract ... Every single time we hear them say the word 'trans,' look what they're doing with their right hand. Look at what they're doing to pick the pocket of American workers, to fleece seniors by privatizing Social Security and Medicare."

The other side of immigration
No one talks enough about the deep trauma our ancestors and parents endured as migrants—forced to leave behind language, culture, land, and family for survival. And how as first-gens, we carry the invisible weight of their sacrifices, guilt, and the pressure to “make it.”

Anyone else can relate?

And more educators!
What we need now are therapists, social workers, healers, artists, activists, advocates, and politicians in power who prioritize the vulnerable—not more billionaires/millionaires or those who stand in the way of progress.

This is why as a wellness and mindset coach, I’m doubling down on my work.

So the MAHA crowd skips surgeries and medical care when they’re seriously ill? Just raw milk and organic veggies curing everything, huh?

I’m so grateful for Roxane Gay telling it like it is. I’ve always asked this question. Why do these voters are so coddle and infantilize by the MSM?
This is the rallying call that I've needed to hear since November 6th. From Roxane Gay in today's New York Times www.nytimes.com/2024/11/17/o...

Our nervous systems aren’t built to handle the constant flood of misinformation and disinformation, even for those w/ strong critical thinking skills.

Let’s be mindful of how powerful our attention is as currency. Social media thrives on it—use it wisely.

For those who happen to be off on Sundays, how do you spend your day off?

There’s often a strong call for empathy towards Trump voters from the MSM/ pundits but what about the 74M + who feel unheard, anxious or even unsafe?

How can Trump voters extend empathy in return, especially to those who see things differently?

Is this possible?

The “I did my own research” crowd often turns out to be the same group most vulnerable to misinformation, disinformation, and conspiracy theories.

Ironically, the very pursuit of knowledge w/o proper tools or critical thinking leads them further from the truth.

Make it make sense

This is the biggest challenge with people’s mental wellbeing. The mind cannot handle repetition.
You cannot regulate your way out of misinformation and disinformation.

Have you ever ask yourself why we feel entertained by watching violence on tv or in a movie?
