So far only 3 NYC Council Members are on record supporting our 0.5% demand for public libraries. That's pathetic. nycplan.org/scorecards/l... - If you don't see your Council member on the list, then you should be giving them a call this week.

Make the Goddamn meal and put it in your Free Fridge. Write the $100 check to the food bank. Ask your local school what they need for the kids and then go about trying to get that stuff.... Do these things regularly and you are making meaningful contributions to your communities.

There are over 50 organizations that send books to incarcerated people. If you’re near one (or visiting a town that has one), you can volunteer. you can also donate books or funds:
