Had the most incredible few days, working with the most inspiring leaders! Coming together to build a community to tackle educational disadvantage in the East region as a collective effort, rather than in the silos of our own schools. It's a privilege to stand amongst them! @leadeast100.bsky.social

About to embark on my 20th year of teaching, 16th year of marriage and 15th year of parenting. This is a reminder to pace myself, do something nice every weekend and remember that September is always a shock to the system!

I gave blood today. Last year, my sister almost lost her life in a head-on collision. Without an air ambulance crew, medicines and blood she would never have got to hospital. 19 months on, the repercussions will never leave her, but she is with us because others saved her life.
