Here's my single-row bingo prize- a 1.5" holographic button pin of the Hornby Island Azhdarchid!!

First unearthed on Hornby Island, BC, this guy is thought to have been rather small for pterosaurs based off current remains- right now, they're believed to have been about the size of a house cat!!

I know these are Bumpy and Dolores but they can pass for a pretty good Zuul and Ferrisaurus, in my opinion.

BC's provincial fossil has a new scientific name - welcome Traskasaura!
Extinct marine reptile species named for Courtenay man who discovered it
The previously unnamed species of elasmosaur is being called Traskasaura sandrae in honour of Mike Trask, who in 1988 discovered fossils in the Puntledge River.
