Yes! Kai Ashanti Wilson’s work influenced me on many levels. And the incomparable @tananarivedue.bsky.social is one of the reasons I write. When I think of others like @edenroyce.bsky.social also writing in this genre, I’m happy #sinners is giving Black Southern Gothic horror the light it deserves
SINNERS is an extraordinary fantastic lens through which to process (African-) American history.
