Brilliant to present alongside colleagues from Boots UK at the Care England conference today. I enjoyed talking about our work on olfaction, object handling and providing effective multi-sensory stimulation for people with dementia. Looking forward to future Memory Box research.

This image Schizophrenology is by my friend Nick Blinko. Blinko is a musician & untrained artist. He came to prominence as singer/ guitar in anarcho-punk band Rudimentary Peni. His hyper-detailed artwork is known for its subversive, witty & dark content. The work was shown in PunkStone, 2024.

I might just post photos of artwork. Here is one of Mary Barnes' IT paintings. Barnes was an untrained artist who experienced a mental breakdown in midlife. IT were violent, dark finger-painted depictions of the psychosis that tormented her, created whilst at Kingsley Hall therapeutic community.
