Reading the excellent "It Was the Best of Sentences.."
I've been a writer for over 30 years and FINALLY understand the nuts and bolts!
Thank you!

USA - if #Trump wants to be compared to a king, think our Henry VIII. Fat, bloated, self-opinionated, ruthless, arrogant, power-crazy. Touchy, hypersensitive, disloyal. Think six wives, Cardinal Wolsley, Thomas Cromwell. Loyal advisors, upset him, beheaded.
#ElonMusk
Just sayin'..

Is the best way for Americans to deal with this nonsensical birthday military parade on Sunday is to just.. Not turn up. No one there. No one for troops to use the "big force" on. No one for him to rage about or threaten..
Just an indifferent silence.
That would so sting his vanity..

As we're coming up to the great Celtic festival of Imbolc this weekend, here's a little painting to celebrate.. the return of the light, the first glimmers of spring, the emergence of the first flowers - and, at last, the sun is becoming more bold.
Blessings to all..

Here's a small painting I made to celebrate..

I haven't been as productive as I'd like this year. Poleaxed by sepsis in June, 10 weeks in hospital followed by a long recovery, I'm just beginning to use drawing as a process to help me heal..
