I started the year off on a bad footing (on one foot actually!) and spent a lot of it ill on the sofa. But turns out I got quite a lot done on the days I went outside 😊 Here’s to everyone who helped make it a good one. More selfies with people I love next year! Happy 2025 ⭐️

Had a lovely couple of days in London this week, catching up with my beautiful niece, river cruise, visiting the Tower of London, meal in Leicester Square, spot of Christmas shopping and sitting in the gallery for PMQs, followed by lunch in the House of Commons with our brilliant MP ❤️

Had a brilliant time at Hull College this morning, delivering @firststory.bsky.social taster sessions for Year 10. Loads of creative writing and chat. Then popped into @waterstones.bsky.social and spotted my book on the same shelf as Paloma Faith’s. This was a good Monday for being a writer ❤️
