So I’ve been using this place as a way to scream into the void. After months of advocating for myself, and thousands of dollars out of pocket, I finally got told I have an aneurysm that’s probably causing the heart beat in my ear. I see my doc on Thursday to find out what it “means”

My ear ringing is so depressing. I cannot believe that in all these years of medical advances they haven’t figured out how to make tinnitus stop.

I saw an audiologist a few days ago about my pulsatile tinnitus. She’s sending me to an ENT- they scheduled me for an appointment on 6/3. In the mean time I’m terrified to sleep. I was doing fine but last night was awful. I’m sick of this human body 😭

I got charged $189 for a doctor to look in my ears at an urgent care and tell me they were full of fluid and to try Flonase. That was with insurance. This country, our healthcare it’s all a sick joke.

I’m going to see an audiologist next week but everything I’ve read online has me feeling pretty hopeless.
I miss being able to enjoy silence. Tinnitus sucks ass! And it’s mind blowing to me that with all the med research there’s no cure
