I have this ongoing fascination with how modern some of the antique things look - here jewelry from old Egypt, from 3500 years ago, as seen yesterday in the lovely old Egypt exhibition at the National Museum of Antiquities / Rijksmuseum van Oudheden / #RMO in #leiden.
A beautiful necklace with pastell-colored inlays on individual charms shaped like leaves. A long gold necklace ending in three fish charms. Different jewelry, including a big brooch that coild be art Nouveau in dark and light blue and pink inlays on gold and two bird head shaped pieces made of of metal. Red lentils & vegetable soup following a recipe I got (more than a decade ago!) from @advi 💚

Tastes best with a piece of nice dark bread (a visitor brought us some real one from Germany) with butter. Yum!

I have, for transport reasons, half a ton of babies of this plant. Anybody wants some?

I did carefully pack some into an envelope in simmer and they managed not only to survive, but to actually grow inyo real baby plants... EU only, please.

White pralines with gold shimmer. Sesame covered truffles. Heart shapes and half-round pralines. All the pralines and truffles together on boards - it's a lot of chocolates and it's only half of what we made.
