One other thing to consider is sourcing.

It was two months from the initial strike to the "kill everybody" allegation in WAPO (according to BBC).

It can take a while for the sourcing to come forward and get confirmed.

This was still a story because the strikes continued and were still bragging.

The idiotic strutting from SECDEF and POTUS and revelations that followed shined a light which forced GOP Senators to address. That brought the repetition, and the outrage that has followed.

Its why I stopped listening to @npr.org news shows (ATC, Morning Edition) after being a consistent listener for 30 years.

November 6, 2024 I turned it off. I don't think I've missed a single thing about it.

I still donate to my local station.

The difference is, we expect more of our leadership to, you know, not be a dumbass and say dumbass things.

GOP doesn't have that expectation.

They like the stupid shit they hear.

There’s no frame that will convince these no talent ass-clowns to “cede power”.

If anything they’ll cry WOKE at the words then wallow in their own filth.

I think the way its being used now will have a chilling effect when a less erratic person is in the White House.

The high road is part of why we're in this mess.

We should have held war crime trials for POTUS43 and his gang.
