The Virtual Boy thing is crazy for a number of reasons but making it require buying a plastic (or cardboard) shell for games you can subscribe to but can't own is wild.

People keep acting like the Switch 2 being the “fastest selling console” 3 weeks in is a big deal. But it’s basically just a measure of how many they made. Every major console will sell multi millions early if they have them to sell.
