Still have this irrational belief that studying footpaws and trying to recreate them in lineart is good for me. Can't help it at this point anyway.

I tried to show additional dimensionality and detail with overall thicker lines. Hope it looks good =3

Sort of a companion piece to the last one I finished, with a more painterly background this time. This was finished across a number of days and I may have lost some of my focus but as always, I hope it can be enjoyed anyway :)

Been a while since I've been really free to do anything like this, but apparently the desire has been burning very intensely in the meantime. The challenging angles in this pose ended up receiving perhaps my most detailed effort. Hope you enjoy.

Managed to finish detailing this one all the way through. Went a bit bonkers with the background but, as with the lineart, it's meant to represent my feelings and why I do this at all. Not that I'm always so sure about that, heh. Lotta weird feelings :x

This is based off a digital painting (based on myself) given to me as a gift many years ago. I've wondered over time how my footpaws would look with strong lines, emphasis on my favorite details, and a few anatomical tweaks, so I redrew them.

My background experimentation continues. I really enjoy a particular blend of blues and greens and I'm trying to find a good way to render them along with my footpaws. I'm always worried it's turned out too bright and loud, though.. hope not :<

My least favorite day of the year is coming soon and it's tanking my mood, so it's been very difficult to draw. I attempted a "portrait" of my left footpaw to match the one of my right, and I think my bad mood is making me think it ended up weird. Oh well.
