There is one more, but it's Snape's fault that I wrote over 3k words about backstories and chapter planning. I don't think I've ever written a Gryffindor OC before. It's nice to let them be dumb and brave without being out of character.

Thinking of another fic, I love the Selwyn OCs I created but good gods they are a tiring bunch, and researching first names I was just going to use the most common name for girls in a certain country... it's my name... I already gave the character my great grandpa's surname... oh well

I did it, I made a family tree of all my OCs and damn near half or more of witch or wizard in HP/FB/HL I'm only missing the Gaunt family and other random people who are not related to any of the other families

Playing with a family tree app and good lord the inbreeding in the Sacred Twenty Eight goes crazy, there are only 3 Slytherin students who are not related to their house/year mates at all, and I haven't even added the Black family yet fml
