In BF6, Empire State, Breakout: Sector 2 spawns super heavily favor defenders. It's nearly impossible to overcome for attackers even with a much better team. You can't get a foothold. Sector 1+3 can be an attacker steamroll but 2 is a meat grinder every time. Needs work. #BF6 #BF6Beta #Battlefield6

We do the same for shotguns in the name of balance, making them tickle from more than a few meters, we should do the opposite with snipers.

By that I mean snipers as they are are inherently imbalanced being a 1 hit kill from any range, and we overlook this because they do require some degree of skill to use, but we shouldn't. We could fix this by only making it a 1hk after a certain range, even if that doesnt realistically make sense.

I think my hottest gaming take, and I think this is very hot, is that sniper rifles in FPS are done all wrong and we'd be better off excluding them if we dont want to rework them to function in a way that does not match up with reality.

If anyone is wondering if Killing Floor 3 runs on Steam Deck the answer is surprisingly yes, but you're gonna have to put all the settings to lowest and be okay with 60fps that drops into the 30s when things get hectic.

I'm back on ADHD meds for the first time since school (~15yrs) and holy crap I totally forgot what it was like to be able to do things. My 18 year old self convinced herself if she stopped she'd be "normal" but omg it was not worth it girl.

I don't think I'm going to bother with any show that has 10 episode seasons at all anymore. There just isn't enough time to develop the characters or take crazy risks with the storytelling.

people are mean and interacting with them is a huge risk that's overall incredibly not worth it
expecting understanding from others is foolish

Judge people for using Edge as their browser, thats fair... unless you're using Chrome, then you don't get to judge. Edge users usually just stuck with it because it was there, but you went and downloaded something worse than default.

I don't drink tea much so I never really considered having a kettle, but since getting an electric kettle I have used it so much for a lot of tea and especially not tea things

If you have European family over and make them Mexican food for dinner you can hear fun phrases like "can I get mayo for my taco?" and "no those refried beans are too spicy for me"

I finally lived my dream of playing every Bethesda RPG on my Steam Deck. Yeah I had to mod Starfield to look like a Vita game to get it to run at a high framerate, but mission accomplished.
