Update to this saga that no one cares about: the stock checker website I’ve been using showed ONE SINGLE SHELF in stock in Pittsburgh. I was on the treadmill at the time and I vaulted off and called partner, who was heading home from work. He got it. I need just ONE MORE, for the love of god.

I shouldn’t have started this bookshelf reorganization because I still need two more extra shelves. In early November I got the last one from the store and they haven’t been in stock since. I would drive several hours to another IKEA at this point to get them, only NOWHERE has them. I cry. I weep.

Grand Moff Tarkin is on my ancient copy of A Wrinkle in Time, which is just fucking hilarious.

I’m doing more math than I’ve done since college while trying to add an extra shelf to my IKEA Billy bookcases. Two of the shelves in these are fixed and I have WAY too many books of varying heights. This is both extremely fun and extremely aggravating. #Booksky

"The Language of Thorns" by Leigh Bardugo was sitting on my shelf for the last seven years for no reason whatsoever, but I finally picked it up. It is such a mesmerizing collection of tales and illustrations, perfect for wintry nights. I read one story each night and it was just what I needed.💙📚

The new Pokémon TCG Pocket pack drop today was enough to cheer me up for a brief time while the utter despair of work at the end of this year was doing its best to drag me down. And I’ll take that!

Also I got my fucking son Cramorant in my first pull. I love this dumbass.
