So - last week - a surprise hydrangea bloom. The others had antiqued a while back. Maybe a reminder that we don’t have to bloom at the same time and things take time.

Flowers remind us that things will be ok and continue on. These daffodils are from bulbs my mom planted years ago that keep on blooming to brighten today. A day which is the first anniversary of her entrance into the church triumphant. May the best traits of her continue on and on.

Happy Thanksgiving y’all! I am so thankful for those who offered light and love to me through the darkest year of my life. I’m glad to get to offer thanks to God for seeing me through the challenges this year! Now let’s eat and get ready to shop!

It’s yuletide season - at least on the camellias. Blooming flowers always remind me of the beauty in the world and that things continue on and will be ok.
