Here’s some soothing music for stressful times. This wacky glowing thing is the Linnstrument, and I am madly in love with it. The unpleasant thing above it is me. Sounds are from Pigments and Noisy2. Post processing with Blackhole, Wires, UA1176, Pro-Q, etc.

Made with Drambo and a bunch of plugins. Uses my trick of having Flux fade parts in and out to give the illusion of structure.

Here’s how you do Steve Reich style tape loops and phasing patterns with Loopy Pro. It’s quite easy, and I think it sounds beautiful. It continues to astonish me how much great music software is available on iPad.

I call this one Regolith. Imagine yourself on the surface of the moon.

I used one of my custom sequencers. A curve is sampled at an interval that doesn’t line up with the curve playhead. The result is a series of notes that follow a gesture, but do not play the same notes on each iteration.

Here’s some horror music. Once again, written entirely on iPad.

Imagine a scene from a horror movie where our protagonist is being chased by the most horrifying monster imaginable.

Here’s some extremely peaceful music made entirely on iPad. I decided to accompany on piano for this one. This uses BLEASS SampleWiz 2, PurePiano, Weeping Wall, Ridgewalk, OtherDesertCities, FAC Alteza, FabFilter Pro-C, Xinematix, BLEASS Arpeggiator, and Drambo.
