The only people who say "Goth isn't political" are Conservatives who join Goth groups etc, and immediately start spreading their political views and then get offended when they experience pushback from actual Goths because their views don't align with the subcultures core ethos.
ppl be over here saying "goth isn't political" like 70% of all the music isn't about the hate and social depredations that the stranglehold evangelical christianity had on boomers brought about toward an entire 3 generations of youth
