I hadn't been on BlueSky lately and I was wondering if I had really missed anything. I guess finding out the sequel to one of my favorite books of 2025 is out now would qualify as a pretty big miss on my part. Rectified now thankfully.

This is super sad news to me. I always stack my TBRs in order from worst to best, and mind you, 'worst' is only relative here. They're still books I read/buy.

By the time I got to my comic store Saturday, all the Red Hood books had been pulled off the shelves, but I still got my copy with The Huntress variant cover. He told me he wasn't going to go remove them from people's pull boxes. Bless him.

I'm so happy someone at DC decided to greenlight a heist caper written by Greg Rucka with art by @nicolascottart.bsky.social starring Cheshire and Cheetah. These are the kinds of things I fantasize about like Strawberry Cheesecake Blizzards with Oreo cookies.
Ok, I was always going to give a Black Cat solo book at least a couple issues try, but somewhere along the line I somehow missed that @gwillow.me was writing it. I love her Poison Ivy and this is off to as good a start as I could hope for. Glen Melnikov's art is outstanding too! Happy happy joy joy!

A surprisingly good read this week. A one issue one shot with a very noir Maltese Falcon like story. Partner killed, suspicious blonde, coveted MacGuffin, inept minion who thinks he's tough and Sonja seeing through all of it. Very very nice.

There wasn't really a bad match on the card tonight for WWE's all-female Evolution PLE.
It was kind of sad that all that work that Rhea and Io put into that final match got tossed for the sake of Naomi's (well-deserved) story pay off.
Finally, I can't say how much I love Stephanie Vaquer!

One of many things I love about the new Superman movie is the comics accurate portrayal of Mister Terrific.
AND the fact that, while *I* already know and love the character, now EVERYONE can see and appreciate such a great character. I'm overjoyed that now so many people will know Mister Terrific.

In 1979, I was looking for a home computer. Apple? TRS-80? Then I got to try Star Raiders on an Atari 800 and my future was settled for the next 45 years. I still own it today (computer AND Star Raiders).

Every day Facebook keeps putting hateful things on my feed about transgender athletes. I block them, say I'm not interested and the next day I get another hateful post from another account. It's like the more I block them, the more determined they are to keep sending them. Ugh! Never a positive post
