When I was at Uni I knew so many talented people, and artists of different mediums and modalities. I miss that. Being able to ask someone who has gorgeous handwriting to help me with a beautiful quote I'd like to see above my desk.

(Sometimes it's nice to just type beautiful language--particularly when you don't have anything positive or remarkable to say yourself.)

Why is it that talking to family on the phone for more than 20 minutes inevitably leads to “oh yeah, I need to tell you the most fucked up thing that happened to your aunts best friends daughter, okay?” And now I won’t be able to sleep tonight. I think @mariabamford.bsky.social has a song about it…
