We have 775 Billion in PPP loans that were forgiven. How much of that went to rich people looking for a handout? The President is running a meme coin, manipulating the market for him and his buddies, selling branded crap, and you want to talk about a handful of Veterans? Do some actual reporting.

Pushing Project 2025's agenda. Cherrypicking the exceptions, downplaying serious ailments. Veterans claim "hay fever" in connection with burn pits. There will be widespread cancer because of this exposure. The government doesn't want to pay for treatment. This trash is a disservice to Veterans.

A lot of this is the toxic atmosphere of the Military. Guys won't get diagnosed while serving because they are afraid of looking weak. That diagnosis is a key part of the VA's process for assigning a rating. "You didn't have a knee problem until you got out..."

Im convinced that this is because of the PACT act. Hundreds of thousands of Veterans exposed to burn pits will develop cancer from it, and the GOP is desperate to escape that obligation. This article is so poorly reasoned that it's sheer propaganda, just like the Economist article last year.

You need 3 things: a medical diagnosis during your service of an injury, a VA appointment to appraise that injury, and the VA to match the Dr's report to their rating system. Its a decent system, most of the time it works and helps Veterans. WaPo is pushing Project 2025's agenda to cut benefits.
