I always wonder ... what the fuck for this shit is running in the background of my #FreeBSD desktop based on Openbox/Tint2/Dzen2/... setup.
Everytime I kill them all with '-9' option ... nothing changes and everything still works.

I used it recently in one of my clients - works really well ... when You configure it properly.
You need to change its PCIe slot to Bifurcation Mode which means the x16 bus is split into four independent x4/x4/x4/x4 PCI lanes - so each NVMe will get its own.
Asus calls it 'RAID Mode' as below :ASD

I used it recently in one of my clients - works really well ... when You configure it properly.

Before I forget ... the "vfs.zfs.min_auto_ashift=12" will be changed to "vfs.zfs.vdev.min_auto_ashift=12" ... because FreeBSD moved from 'its' ZFS to OpenZFS ... at least that is what I understand as the reason.

I like the idea - but carry another set of 'no-data' cables - and their high price ($15) is not very convenient for me.
I prefer small adapter that you can attach to any cable ... and they cost about $2 each ...

Even if You do not use FreeBSD Bhyve virtualization at all - its still good to install 'vm-bhyve' or 'vm-bhyve-devel' package to have BETTER device listing in the system.

Another example of pointless EU money waste - there already such license exists and its called BSD license and its already translated to all EU members languages and works in their legislate/law systems.
