Librarian and nerd. Trying to keep my Star Trek posting to a reasonable level. Bi, she/her. Would strongly prefer not to be reposted.
Absolutely!

Data in "The Most Toys" didn't let being Starfleet *or* being an android with ethical subroutines hold him back.

We have so many adverts for "Black Friday Week" sales despite *not observing US Thanksgiving*.

It's a shame they mainly come out when she is very sad.

And in Inca Mummy Girl for a less bleak outing.

Seen in Ted (mood: "I have just accidentally killed my mother's boyfriend), Becoming Part 2 (mood: I have just killed my boyfriend and am running away from home), Helpless (mood: my Watcher is secretly taking my powers away and my mother has been kidnapped by an insane vampire).

I'm so angry about it all the time.

I love her.

No, thank you for thinking of me!

I saw recently! But I do not have experience in the right areas, and think it's far above my level of competence.

The Ursula K. Le Guin thing I went to today was in Bedford Square! What a great place to live. I didn't move to London until 2013, but my sister was living in the Russell Square area in 2011.

(When did you live there? Maybe we crossed paths.)

My sister lived in Doughty Street while she was at university, and then when I moved to London I worked in Russell Square and then went to UCL, so it is one of the areas I'm most familiar with, and I love it, even if that is unimaginative.

I got to wander through Bloomsbury, my favourite bit of London; you can hardly move for blue plaques on buildings (Mary and Percy Shelley, Mark Ashton, Emmeline Pankhurst). In Russell Square I saw parakeets and a very big dog playing with a very small dog.

When I contemplate my many books on queer topics, I think of this exchange from Friends:
"Wow, you guys sure have a lot of books about being a lesbian."
"Yeah, you know, you have to take a course, otherwise they don't let you do it."

I have tried wearing a belt recently, but when it's on an appropriate hole the free end doesn't quite make it as far as the next belt loop, so it just flaps around annoyingly. Clothes are hard.

I think blue might be cow (and green hippo), but they look entirely too similar.

I hope you have a lovely time!

I was surprised when the bouquets for the GBBO runners-up appeared to have lilies in. Think of the pets!
