So starting to replace my multi monitor arm. Going with single arms this time for ease in the future. This picture shows what 6.75 years of wear can do to the arm joints. One of the ruts is about 0.75mm deep out of about 3mm thick of aluminium - the arm had started to droop a bit lol

Todays minor DIY, the classic "the armrests on my chair have split and duct tape didn't help". About £15 and two minutes with a screwdriver and we have shiny new armrests !

Just had the phone call part of my Universal Credit Review. Been a worrying couple of weeks as in the past they've made mistakes that caused me problems but this has gone OK for the most part.

Plunged to Windows 11 last night, not a clean install though just yet. Tinkering has already made me use Explorer Patcher to change the new start menu/taskbars back to have more useful windows 10 options available. Seriously the windows 11 interface is terrible removing many useful things.

I feel in many cases the worst bit is them trying to develop a conscience.

So Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 launched at 1600 my time. Finally got in about 0130 and had first quick flight and this achievement hints at how the launch day went. #MSFS2024

My winter vaccine funk has mostly gone today. Spent the last three days basically not doing anything except resting and topping fluids.

Gah ! Lethargic today & developed slight cough with stiff joints. Assumption would be whatever strain the flu vaccine was for I've never been exposed to before so my immune response is doing its thing. Ho Hum, hopefully it doesn't stay long.

Its somewhat pleasing watching a new (mostly lol) social app burst with life. Well done @bsky.app for your continuing effort.
