The endgame in de hele saga rond het M HKA (dat wordt opgeslorpt door Gent) is natuurlijk de oprichting van de Vrijstaat Antwerpen, zoals ooit voorgesteld in 1830.
Zo blijft de collectie en de werking gewoon deel van Antwerpen (dat iets groter wordt dan nu).

This is literally my life, our life.
Many more (sub)urban families are defaulting to bikes and e-bikes for everyday commutes.
(Cars remain rather dominant and present.)
And infrastructure is following, e.g. a pedestrian+bike only bridge to be built in Antwerp.

Ik snap niet waarom er stoelen zijn geïnstalleerd op treinen.
Allemaal staanplaatsen is zoveel economischer.
En eerlijker: we moeten niet racen voor een zitplaats… je weet toch dat je er geen zal krijgen.
In eerste klas is er meer plek, want zij krijgen pushers met witte handschoenen.

That’s the direct opposite of a school street (“schoolstraat”, here in Antwerp, Belgium).
All motorised traffic is blocked, in favour of cyclists and pedestrians.
Or more precisely as the sign says: all vehicles are blocked “except emergency services and cyclists”.
