trump is a prissy little jagoff and anybody who voted for him is even more worthless than he is

all Trump Chumps will be blocked -- as will ALL Jew-haters
I can think of thousands of Vietnam era draft protesters as well as thousands of wrongfully discharged LGBTQ service members who benefited from the pardon power. Tweaks to the system will never save us from lousy, stupid, worthless American voters.

Damn... that was basically Homer Simpson's stupid campaign slogan.
November 16, 2025 at 1:31 PM
Good god, you're so fucking dumb. 😆
November 13, 2025 at 4:00 PM
You're an idiot.
November 13, 2025 at 3:59 PM
Stupid Trumper.
November 13, 2025 at 3:59 PM
But city officials and other natural persons can.

The question was whether any lawsuit could be brought -- by natural person or entity. Typical Trumper, you're jumping in the middle of a conversation without considering the context.

Shut your stupid fucking ignorant ass up and let the adults talk.
November 13, 2025 at 3:58 PM
...they'd have to show that Trump's order doesn't break the chain of "proximate cause." Hey, if I were on the jury, I'd be voting their way. But think FOX would get it dismissed even before any jury is empaneled. 😕
November 13, 2025 at 2:23 PM
If that's true, then the individuals who were harmed could certainly file a cause of action for defamation, IIED, or general negligence against FOX News. It's just that they would then have to show that FOX knew to a certainty that their reports were false. And then...
November 13, 2025 at 2:23 PM
...This is simply the sort of protection that the 1st Amendment provides to media reports. Except for lies that cause direct harm to a person, or business it's pretty much impossible to hold anyone accountable for spreading false information. That's our stupid country.
November 13, 2025 at 1:53 PM
It's unlikely. They could sue for defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and some liability for damage to city property. But the media receives extraordinary protection from 1A, and the president's order to send in the troops could be an act that cuts off proximate cause. ...
November 13, 2025 at 1:53 PM
Typical conservative deflection. Just like when we're not allowed to talk about gun laws after 10 kids are shot in the head at some school because we're "politicizing a tragedy" or some other bullshit. Basically, any time conservatives claim to be compassionate, they're fucking hiding something.
November 12, 2025 at 10:09 PM
Well, since I can't ask either myself, perhaps you would care to speak for them and explain it to me? You're already speaking for them. Why not just do it for real? I'm sure whatever you have to say would fairly and benignly express their experience.
November 12, 2025 at 7:07 PM
Well, I agree that "holding on to power" is a blunder. No doubt.

But remember that the former "British Empire" is now the "Commonwealth Of Nations" that grew out of that former empire. And it seems to work pretty well for the nations involved. 😊

Good example of one of Nerd Culture's greatest blunders. Nerd culture needs every story to continue and sit on top of each other seamlessly. It basically tries to turn entertainment into an academic discipline where expert gatekeepers who have devoted their lives to a franchise rule.

Yeah "new blood."

I hear Madison Cawthorn's looking for a job!
November 12, 2025 at 3:44 PM
He was never inducted into the American armed forces. Like I said, it wouldn't have been a big problem to him. As a draftee, he never had a high opinion of the military anyway. 🙂
November 12, 2025 at 12:24 PM
My dad was drafted into His Majesty's Army for four wasted years. He later worked at USAFLC for 30 years throughout the Cold War. When he died, the local paper here in Ohio declined to call him a "veteran."

My mom didn't make a fuss, because he probably would've agreed with them. 😁
November 12, 2025 at 2:06 AM
Yes it is a "false choice." But it happens to be the SAME FUCKING FALSE CHOICE THAT THE MEME IS PROPOSING AND YOUR DUMB ASS IS DEFENDING, YOU FUCKING IDIOT! 🤣
November 11, 2025 at 2:57 AM
I think that's true. But the implication is that Democrats should simply have stood their ground and allowed SNAP benefits to go away -- or at least called the GOP's bluff and risked those benefits going away. Is that right?
November 11, 2025 at 1:03 AM
Okay. But you already said that. So I'm guessing that you think the meme is saying that Democrats should have ignored any threat to SNAP and stood their ground, right? They failed because they were unwilling to sacrifice SNAP benefits. Is that right? Is that what this meme is telling us?
November 11, 2025 at 12:59 AM
But what is the "tactic" here? Threaten people with "mass starvation"? I'm going by what the meme says. Are you saying Trump and the GOP weren't really willing to starve a bunch of people? They just fooled the Dems? Okay, then those Dems were foolish to believe it. But that's not what the meme says.
November 11, 2025 at 12:22 AM
I've seen this meme a few times now, and... I don't get it. Sure, the Dems who "caved" were wrong. But they were wrong because they didn't want to see "mass starvation"?

Yeah, mass starvation DOES work as a weapon. What kind of person would it not work that way on?
November 10, 2025 at 9:39 PM
Well uh... yeah... it does. It always has. Conservatives are cruel and throughout history they have inflicted cruelty to get what they want. I don't know if the Dems who "caved" did the right thing, but if they were wrong, I guess I don't see how this meme shows that?

Christianity has never been about helping people. It has always been about finding "divine" reasons to hate and dominate "the other." LGBTQ, non-white people, women, Jewish people, other religions, etc. Churches work overtime to justify hating all others.

Cops ALWAYS act like they're attorneys (when they're really just grunts for the prosecutor's office). I happen to be one. But it doesn't take an attorney to simply refuse consent for police to enter. If they have the right, they'll come in anyway. But if they don't, no reason to just allow it.
