Okay, y'all, I am requesting assistance. What are the new knit baby blanket rules? My youngest is 20, and I have no clue about current safety guidelines. No holes? Flame retardant? All natural fibers? Dyes?

It's certainly starting lovely! I made 2 mistakes while knitting at work @ regular intervals. It's a pattern now. Original pattern is Pembroke Scarf, color is Urth Uneek 3005 #ShowMeYourKnits

Finally wrestled the first fingerless elbow length mitts from the kiddo to match up the thumbs and match everything up. They are done. I'll add pictures once I can peel them off him again or get him to model for me.

My youngest turns 20 today, his last of the in-between years of teen and adult. It is such an odd, happy, sad feeling. We almost lost him @ 3 weeks to a partially sealed aorta. Then he became entirely too bright, too fast. His "high functioning" label came at 9.
Through all of that, he's my baby.

Knitting update.
All gift hats were completed on time. The baby's fingerless gloves were not. But he had one finished. I am now on the thumb gusset on the 2nd glove. I had to convince him to give it back so I could match them up as I go.
Shortly, selfish knitting! It's necessary.

So many favorite things are gone. Favorite town, drive, hike, view. Gone.
