the only reason that tech was ever remotely left-coded was that in the early 2010s they consciously aligned themselves with what appeared to be the dominant political party. that meant large donations to Dems and nominal gestures toward diversity. as soon as the winds shifted they swung right.

@dholms.xyz if I want to use my domain as my bluesky handle, but there's someone else on here who has an overlapping handle (e.g. if I had venus.com, and someone else is using venus.bsky.social) could I still use my domain on here or would I have to get one that doesn't overlap anyone on here?
