If you're working on #environmentart for historical kits, add Archive.org to your list of reference sources. Lots of catalogues from the 1800's and early 1900's available for molding, ironworks, picture frames.

Really helps pin down shapes, sizes, and proportions when things feel off in #blender.

The first pass of Whodunit's environment kit is coming along

Etched the motifs I used in this wallpaper variant into the window pane's texture - this is rough editor view in Blender, so opacity is wanting. The Green corner-blocks need doing

Breathing some life into Whodunit's first wall kit.

I felt the wallpaper needed to bring the game's Burtonesque vibe into the environment -- so I whipped up my first ever material in Substance designer.

Still need to add back in scratches and grunge #indiedev #solodev #environmentart #burtonesque
