Today’s knitting project while listening to my favourite podcast @quietriotpod.bsky.social is the second of a pair of felted slippers – the extremely popular Sailor Slippers by Annie Sews. I’m hoping to have felted them by the end of tomorrow so that I might actually get to wear them this winter! 🧶

This is the (no doubt standard response) to my complaint to the BBC about their unquestioning and, to my mind partial, coverage of Nigel Farage’s policies on immigration. So now we know why they are backing him. They see him as next PM. It won’t protect them - he will destroy it as soon as he can

Govt needs to be shouting more loudly about all the funding they have given to local councils to improve high streets. Norfolk is practically throwing it at us. It feels almost unreal but also amazing.

Locals in the pub we went to tonight for the pub quiz (normally quite right leaning)spitting nails about Trump & Vance which was pleasing. Best thing though is that they call Trump Toby Jug and when we looked online we found why
