Today I backed up my laptop to a locally attached hard drive. I forgot how fast these things were compared to remote network backups.

Every year, many of my neighbors set off fireworks (the illegal expensive types) starting mid-June weekends and then daily July 1-6 from 5pm to 11pm. This year - once; at 9pm last Thursday, cheap ones. Nothing since then. I wonder why nobody is celebrating Democracy & Freedom.

As we move to Spring/Summer, I dug to the bottom of the dresser to find cargo shorts for the warmer weather not seen since last year.
Today’s black shorts had a $20 bill in one pocket and a $2 bill in another. I hope tomorrow brings similar discoveries.

It seems in between the time I created my account years ago and trying to log in today, @ticketmaster.com updated their outbound email system and now I have a “Scunthorpe problem”. As such, I lost the ability to use their system without changing my email address.

Upgraded my NAS’s RAM from 4 to 16GB for under $16. The monthly RAID maintence goes much faster and I’m tempted to spin up a few more random containers just for fun. My own little personal cloud. #qnap
