Veganism is not about pleasing other vegans or personal satisfaction, it's about ending the exploitation of animals. The "misery" is nothing compared to what the animals endure for preference. Ethics aren't about convenience.

Are you a Pacific Islander or Masai? No? Then you have the same privilege as I do. Please consider no longer paying for animal exploitation and slaughter, I hope it's clear that not paying for exploitation and slaughter is better (for the animals) than paying for it.

Eggs aren't vegan and their production involves the exploitation and eventual killing of hens. Replacing meat with eggs is just swapping one form of animal use for another. No animal belongs on a menu.
