An ugly tart made by an uglier tart
A lemon posset tart with a biscuit crust and piped whipped cream splodges for decoration. The top is dusted with leftover biscuit crumbs and multicoloured sugar sprinkles. It is still in the pie tin because I couldn't get it out cleanly.

Remembered to try adding cream before baking and made some of the best cinnamon rolls ever

A comically large (9 inch diameter) cherry bakewell tart next to a normal sized Mr Kipling version. Mine is way less neat, and the glacé cherry is made of jelly which nearly fell apart when I put it on.

A ginormous bourbon biscuit on a wooden chopping board. It was made in a 9 by 13 inch tin and it makes the regular sized bourbon next to it look teeny tiny in comparison. The lettering isn't the neatest or most evenly spaced, but I had to freehand it and did not plan it as carefully as I should have!

Got my roll on
A vanilla Swiss roll on an oval platter. It is surprisingly neat and remarkably intact (ok, the bottom sustained minor damage during transfer to the plate, but if you can't see it, it doesn't count). The filling comprises a very skimpy layer of jam and a hefty layer of chantilly cream.

Embracing the change of season by making pumpkin spice cookies
A single, slightly ugly, pumpkin spice cookie on a wire rack. It has orange coated mini chocolate balls, white chocolate chips, and leaf shaped sprinkles mixed into the dough along with a hefty dose of pumpkin spice mix (a blend of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, all spice, and cloves)
