I’ve been a big proponent of re-emphasizing batting average in baseball for a while. It just seems that putting the ball in play makes things happens. Look at the top 5 team batting averages from the 2025 #MLB Postseason. Toronto is heads above EVERYONE else.

Third surgery on my finger is done and over. I have to start occupational therapy tomorrow in the hopes of avoiding scar tissue locking it up again. My orthopedic surgeon is great, but she informed me that O.T. tomorrow “is really going to suck.” Awesome
