Not the biggest point but ppl deliberately confuse the length of “preambles” and “rules.” 13,000 words to define “shower head” sounds ridiculous, but the actual definition (below) is very short. Preambles have to contain economic analyses, responses to comments, and other legally required material.

To drill down on @donmoyn.bsky.social’s point: DOGE appears to have canceled the Security and Exchange Commission’s access to Westlaw, an extremely widely used legal research tool. Cutting off Westlaw will make it much harder for SEC attorneys to do their job.
