Es deutet sich an, dass hier ein wichtiges Frühjahrs-Rastgebiet vor dem Zug in das sibirische Brutgebiet entdeckt wurde.

A female Western Gull was recorded riding 150km in a garbage truck from San Francisco to a compost facility in Central CA, probably to forage. TWICE. An innovator, an icon, a genius.

Longevity in #seabirds: nearly 25-year-old Herring Gull Green AH75 (ringed as a chick on #Helgoland in July 2000) was spotted by Bernhard near Cuxhaven, Germany. Same place as in January 2024 and February 2023, but before it was last seen in 2004 (hidden for almost 19 years).

Das Wunder von Paris illustriert: Noch 2017 herrschte dicke Luft. Heute nur noch auf den größten Straßen. Der Grund: Hunderte Km neue Radwege, Tempo 30, der Wegfall zehntausender Parkplätze und die Sperrung des Zentrums für den Durchgangsverkehr. Wann finden wir in 🇩🇪 den Mut es Paris gleichzutun?
