Dark Horse Books is looking to the cosmos for its next release, as the publisher has officially announced the Starfield Visual Compendium. Developed in collaboration with developer Bethesda Softworks, this book takes a closer look at the game through its art, and it'll launch on September 16. Available for preorder right now, it's priced at $60. Inside, you'll find art detailing the inner workings of the galaxy's most powerful factions, galactic artifacts, and more, all accompanied by commentary from the game's art team. Preorder at Amazon Set in the year 2330, Starfield featured what Bethesda referred to as a "NASA-punk" art direction, that blended realistic and scrappy themes together. This resulted in an overall style that was more grounded and relatable, compared to the more outlandish art direction taken by other games in this genre.
