And this one daisy that has emerged from the agave comes to my shoulder. Incredible!

My garden is in full bloom, including my 30 year old daisies which are waist high.

It all looks ok. I think there was hail damage elsewhere.

Blue skies today!

A wild storm. Hail, startling thunder and lightning. I shut down all my computers and stopped marking. I am waiting it out with the lights turned off.

Hello Gehry, my old friend.

And here is a photo from earlier in the week of the blooming magnolia just on dusk.

I am obsessed with this nearby magnolia.

I have these canna lillies (which I didn't plant) that have grown wild. They are taller than me. I was so chuffed until I looked them up and apparently they are listed as invasive weeds. I still love them but feel the shame of my ineptness. Oh! There is a lemon tree being strangled in that mess 🤦‍♀️😂

Back at it today!
Though I am mostly in the harbour. The ocean only on non-surf days. 💕

Nice day for a harbour swim 🏊‍♀️💕

I am dabbling with my garden. The holes are bigger, there are no threads to thread, and more people to enjoy the prettiness.

My bromeliad aechmea is in early flower. I love the pink petals peeking out!

My 25 year old daisies in my front yard continue to bloom. They love Novembers. This year, they have peaked at hip high 💕🌻

And then at yesterday's workshop at the Penrith regatta centre, there were these delightfully pretty sailboats.

A visually splendid 10 days 💖

I also spent several days in Port Macquarie. A fave vacation spot. There was fab icecream, great pizza, awesome coffee but the hotel was not great. And sadly, no koalas spotted on this visit.

I have just finished an intense fortnight of workshops for a road safety education roadshow. Travelling up the NSW coast was lovely, especially during peak spring time with lots of jacarandas and flame trees. Pics taken in Taree, Bellingen and Nambucca Heads.

So all these years we have been cutting back the annoying fern in our backyard to let the lilli-pilli grow. But it has been forgotten for a while, and we have an accidental jacaranda tree/sapling!
