Ingredients: Bacon (4 slices), Italian sausage (1 lb), butter as needed, ½ onion diced, 1 Tbsp garlic, ¼ tsp smoked paprika, 4–5 potatoes cubed, 6 cups chicken broth, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, ½ tsp soy sauce, 4 cups chopped kale, 1½–2 cups cream, Parmesan for serving. Method: Brown bacon; remove. Brown sausage; drain excess fat. Sauté onion + garlic + ¼ tsp smoked paprika. Deglaze with broth + ½ tsp soy sauce. Add potatoes, broth, 1 tsp salt, pepper. Pressure cook 5 min, natural release 10. Stir in kale on Sauté until wilted. Add cream; warm gently. Finish with bacon and Parmesan.

Legit. British filmmakers in general are not my jam. Sachs (along with Lean, Hitchcock, Nolan, Ritchie, Wright, Ramsay, Arnold, Leigh, Daldry, Haigh) never lift off for me.
