I disagree. Worse than Taliban? Worse than the Iranians? Worse than Sisi?

Iraq and Afghanistan were tried as experiments. So was the whole Arab Spring. This is what we have. As an American, I don't want a red cent of my taxes spent on regime change. I feel sorry for them, but that's the reality.

PS. I have zero sympathy for MBS, and think the Saudis will collapse without U.S. backing, but to say that he's an unique monster overlooks every other incumbent expect perhaps that of Lebanon in the region.

IU had an outside Minor requirement for the Poli Sci PhD. Most took stats or areas like African or Central Asian Studies. Mine was History. I am a grand advisee of Chris Bayly via my History Advisor Michael Dodson.
