And yes, I read The Goblin Emperor for the first time in September, read the whole series immediately, and reread it twice. Shut up, leave me alone, you don't know me.

I ended up reading 216 books last year. Everything I read was either great or absorbing despite its flaws. Notably less nonfiction than normal. I can see clearly the month I had a cancer scare, and the time I spent recuperating from surgery.

So far in April I've read 4 absolute bangers and I can't express enough how glad I am. February was also absolutely perfect re: nothing but hits. I don't finish reading books I'm not enjoying but there's fine/fun and then there's these:
