She/her & them/ they because clarifying pronouns or choosing your pronouns based on your gender identity should never be a crime.

Only 6-8 Vaquita
porpoise
is a horrendously tiny number that deserves no spin.
Some years the weather during has been unsuitable for sighting Vaquita over the 3 week period.

The year (2019) they recorded the lowest number of Vaquita, there were only 3 days of possible conditions.

In 2023, the conditions were better and they saw more Vaquita than the previous years.

Okay I have a lot of thoughts so bear with me.

There has never been consistency between the years to be able to predict a trend.

The experts know this and there was a time in which they openly stated that.

My thoughts..

A three week window for a population survey of the world’s most critically endangered marine mammal is insane.

The experts involved in the Vaquita survey said the exact thing years ago when there were 400 Vaquita.

This year the visual survey included 2 high platform vessels, 6 big eye binoculars and experienced successful drone operator/ photographer as well. As the technology for surveillance improves, the numbers of Vaquita SEEN decrease or stay the same.

Well at least they didn't go straight to US SOCOM - there's a case of that happening with another NGO...

“Project tenBoma” a program of the International Fund for Animal Welfare that ran from 2015 to 2020, exemplified how military intelligence operations found their way into anti-poaching efforts.

Yeah it really did Peter. Both Sea Shepherd US and Sea Shepherd Global use Yamasec, the Israeli Security company.

It really is depressing and haunting.

I 100% agree with you. It’s insane isn’t. It’s not just the headliners but the experts who claim that it’s stable when it’s horribly on the brink. When a population gets this low, they are known to “blink out”

A good list of bad companies.
