Guantanamo Bay in Cuba
Saint Thomas in USVI
San Juan and Ponce in Puerto Rico.

In October, the Defense Logistics Agency requested comments from contractors to find somebody that can supply a six-month contract for full-service food support to visiting Navy ships. Other military branches throughout Puerto Rico can also be customers.

The FAA closed airspace near Roosevelt Roads in Ceiba from Nov. 1 to March 31, 2026 with the reason being "temporary flight restrictions for Special Security Reasons."

The Navy issued a combined synopsis/solicitation for food catering services for 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit personnel located at the RR airport from Sept to mid-Nov (base) and mid-Nov to Dec. 31 (option). It's currently unclear if the solicitation has been fulfilled.

When I visited the small beachfront town, I witnessed several cameras that -- although a different brand than was listed in the document -- seemingly matched the description in procurement records we obtained. Two overlook public boat ramps, another one for boat rentals.

New story out from me. CBP installed a surveillance network along the coast of the popular beach town of Fajardo in Puerto Rico.

These cameras are installed "in and around" private marinas in the municipality, which races privacy concerns.

Según moción de NFE, los remolques que les ordenaron a traer para trabajar con los buques de gas licuado se han retrasado por el paso del huracán Melissa. Ahora se estima que llegarán a PR entre Nov 3-4. Se supone que el próximo "intercambio" de gas licuado sea Nov 5 o 6

The 37 municipalities lawsuit was dismissed in September, but they filed an appeal yesterday. It was the first-ever class-action climate RICO lawsuit.

The lawsuit, much like a climate lawsuit by 37 municipalities, accused the fossil fuel industry of colluding to deceive the public about their products effects on climate change, which fueled the devastating 2017 hurricane season.

En PR se han sentenciado 8.7 personas por año por soborno y corrupción federal durante los últimos 10 años, según el documento de hoy.

Vázquez Garced has also filed a motion to extend the deadline for her sentencing memorandum because the PSR included allegations and assertions that she "expressly denies." She only admits to what was in the Stipulation of Facts in her plea agreement
