New Years Day sunset in the SGV

My best story of 2025 presented itself a few nights ago. Our neighbor was screaming bloody murder. I ran over to check. A one-eyed bobcat had killed some chickens. It was holed up in the coop, hissing/spitting as we peeked in. Her boarder comes out wearing gloves and calmly declares he'll handle it.

Decided to throw down a Tiki Xmas Eve. My sweetie made Cha Siu pork, Veggie Mu Shu, and Crab/Salmon Rangoon w/dipping sauces. I brought my appetite and Mai Tais.

@lafieldrecordingclub outing today. Many Sun Valley light industrial soundscapes were documented.

Spent 3 intense but fruitful days testing the limits of our transducer/solenoid "extended acoustics" machine at The Tank Center for Sonic Arts. Grateful to Tank staff for their support. (Looking at you, James, Michael, and Jeremiah!)
