I feel like there's a metaphor in seeing my rose that re-wilded itself while being choked by grass put out a couple of traditional blossoms now that I've cleared around it.

It is my sad duty to inform you that Aloeysius the Great, First of his Name, Bearer of Yellow Blossoms has fallen. Quite literally, he broke his pot and the ensuing damage while trying to save him was too much. It remains to be seen which of his progeny will take up his mantle. #PlantSky

Spur of the moment idea: make lilac syrup. Steeping it on my altar for a day before chilling it.

My son helped me make an offering to our lilac in thanks, and wanted a moment alone to talk to it. 💜

Until a week ago, this meme was my relationship with my kid. Now, he's having to deal with a whole lot of "no, don't climb/jump/touch Mommy". He's taking it about as well as a threenager can. 😬

Husband and I did one of those wine & paint parties today. I could hear him talking to our son about the results. I felt the line of questions was rather leading, but he insists that our kid was very insistent without prompting that the "better one" was mine. 🤨

Silent Hill ass fog we got here this morning.
Photo looking out a window into a back yard. The edge of a deck is visible at the bottom of the window. Further up, there is a dead-looking lawn and then a split-rail fence. The fence has a sight white haze to it. Beyond the fence, there are wild grasses and some yucca that are increasingly obscured by fog, before everything is greyish-white. The rest of the neighborhood appears gone.

Struggling to do...anything. Well, at least I hung some masks yesterday.

Had a low-key Imbolc, but really liked how the altar came out.
