I’ve been back in my home base city for a few days now and I forgot how much lighter of a mental load it is knowing exactly where to go for everything, easy places to sleep, not needing GPS. It’s a lot easier…just not as fun 😄

My birthday is in 8 days. Currently in OK and need to be in MD by 5/1. I’m trying to find a cool spot to celebrate between OK/MD. I can go almost anywhere yet nowhere is speaking to me. I wanted a fine vegan dining experience, I must have vegan dessert at very least 🎂

I’m perplexed by @bsky.app and @skylight.social - is there a way to post only to one and not automatically to both? I don’t like that they automatically sync, I was surprised to log into Skylight for the first time and see all my posts from BS that contained a video

My first uninvited critter in the van experience! I had a nice BLM spot in Santa Fe and woken up by what sounded like scratching inside the walls. I said F this and drove to the nearest parking lot. Either they never made it in or the washboard roads shook ‘em out. Haven’t heard since 😌 #vanlife #rv

I heard Sedona isn’t the most van friendly and thought it was an exaggeration but I kinda agree, it’s not the best. I was also surprised I couldn’t bring my dogs into the state park at all even if they stayed in my van.
Regardless, got in some good hikes outside the park

Sprinter, Transit, or another Promaster?
~ sprinter: 144 is too short but 170 is too long, least interior width, repairs are $$$
~ transit: ground clearance is way too low and it’s too tall by the time you add solar and AC
~ promaster: size/usable space is 👌 but quality is 🚩

Don’t ask me how, but I accidentally ended up in line to enter Zion National Park (seriously) but I’m sooo glad I did. It’s stunning! But I’m confused bc I read you HAD to use the shuttle right now but I was able to drive through the whole park? I wasn’t prepared to stop though :/
