Trump is America’s Brexit. I expect economic decline and an increased turning in as people can less afford to travel and the US becomes less attractive for business and tourism.

Absolutely. If not for yourself, block for others so gradually trolls realize this is not X and that Musky behavior is not welcome here.

The Jamie Oliver debacle is being hotly debated in my writers WhatsApp group with some furious about publishers giving deals to celebrities without a second thought for what they are writing and and others furious at the censorship.

When things get hard off the page, I try to write about a thousand words a day. It’s not about quality, but staying on track, keeping a focus on writing, commitment and consistency. I call it a shitty 1000 words a day, for perspective. I’m not trying to be Wole Soyinka, just get down the page.

It IS going to get harder, but in these times of feeling unsafe, please remember my free writing channel over on my IG. Writing is Hell-Take a Seat where I post content to keep you from giving up.

I also run a FREE Tuesday workshop at 3.30pm over on Clubhouse. Sundays with @harooncreates

An intruder strikes fear into a family in a brilliant debut, while a life of luxury turns very dark indeed. Plus, one of Nicci French’s finest novels yet
