Explain to me how stealing wages, not paying a liveable wage, and keeping people living in poverty, helps our fragile economy?
Explain as if I was a five year old, because in my very first year of economics, we were taught that if people make more money then they spend more money.

Air Canada specifically asked the government to do this. The union was against it. This was a favour for Air Canada, and that's all it was. It wasn't about fairness, or supporting workers.
