You do not speak for Pennsylvania, ya big jerk. @fetterman.senate.gov
Fetterman on Morning Joe: "I know both of you have been punished to have conversations, ongoing dialogue with President Trump. I got hit just to have dinner with him after he invited me to have that conversation. Pennsylvania keeps people honest."

The NFL platforming Trump is sickening.

Hurray and also you’re welcome.
FUCK YES:

Democrats have retained a 5-2 seat majority in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

This is what democracy looks like.

Canceled Disney Plus even though I haven’t finished Season 2 of Andor. That’s how much I love this country.

We really need to drop this business about his hands and his ankles. It’s like the Mueller Report in his first term; it ain’t coming to save us. We have to do the hard work of resisting, and not engage in death fantasies.

All these robotics companies are posting how proud they were to be involved in McCormick’s thing yesterday with Trump, and I am so glad I am retiring in the spring. I can burn as many bridges as I want in saying: I would never work for any of these people and their shitty companies.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if Florida’s official state tourism agency found out exactly what people thought about their brand new concentration camp? (I made a thing - feel free to copy and share)

He was humiliated last weekend. This weekend he bombed someone.

My guess is there is a relationship between those two events.

I can’t even tell you how many times I have seen people fail at this exact thing. Every single time Elon and his stooges speak about software, they out themselves as clueless.
any software dork with experience with systems of any complexity at all will tell you this is a doomed idea that usually only comes from the newest programmers. “i could rewrite that in a weekend” is a common trope of the inexperienced. that code base is probably 90% chestertons fences.
SCOOP: DOGE wants to rebuild SSA's codebase in months, risking benefits and system collapse, sources tell me.

The plan is to migrate all systems off COBOL quickly which would likely require the use of generative AI.

Just called @fetterman.senate.gov and asked him to vote no on Cloture and the bill, and to use his power. He has the chance to redeem himself with me, at least partially.
🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave.

Tell them:
1. Vote NO on Cloture
AND
2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill.

Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it.

TODAY is the showdown.

On the one hand I get it that people want Democrats to DO MORE, but on the other hand - they got voted out. They can shout and hold press conferences and vote NO (and they should do that), but they have no real power to change anything that is happening.
